What sort of electrical supply do your projecting clocks operate on?
The new range of Timebeam products can be supplied for 100 - 120 volt and 220 - 240 volt supplies. The clock mechanisms are battery powered.

What replacement lamps / bulbs are available?
It is essential that only the specified replacement lamp / bulb is used, or operation will be affected and the warranty invalidated. Lamp life is stated as 2000 hours, however this is not covered by your Timebeam / By Design warranty. Both generic and 'Timebeam original' lamps / bulbs are given for our various projecting clocks below (replacement bulbs for our previous models are still available to BUY ONLINE):

Will the clock stop if I turn off the light?
With our current range (i.e. the Microsweep, Maxisweep and Maxi-Ceiling) the clock is battery powered so will not stop if the lamp (powered by mains electricity via an integral AC adaptor) is extinguished.

How do I set the time?
With our current range (i.e. the Microsweep, Maxisweep and Maxi-Ceiling) the facility for setting the time is located inside the battery door at the back of the product.

|
In what currency are your prices displayed?
All items are priced in Pounds Sterling (GBP). When you buy from us, your credit / debit card company will automatically convert the total amount payable into your own currency.
However, if you would like to see your total order value in your own currency before you pay then you can simply use the handy conversion tool on the View Basket page (please bear in mind that the rate of exchange may have changed at the actual time of payment being taken).
|
Are the prices displayed subject to any tax charges?
Prices are shown inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 17.5%. Our VAT number is: 434 6824 41.
For overseas orders where VAT is not applicable (e.g. the US), the amount set aside to cover such charges for UK / EU orders, instead serves to cover increased delivery costs. Overall pricing, therefore, is the same, regardless of delivery destination.
Any other tax, import duties or similar charges that might be levied against purchases at the time of delivery are the responsibility of the purchaser.
|
|
How much do you charge for delivery?
Standard delivery worldwide is included in the price, for express delivery - prices are available on application.
|
How long will my order take to reach me?
We normally ship orders (where stock is available) within 7 days. The actual delivery timescale beyond that point is obviously out of our direct control and would naturally depend on location and service selected, but we would normally expect goods to arrive within 1 - 3 weeks of dispatch.
|
What if my order never arrives?
Customers should allow up to 28 days from the notified date of dispatch for delivery. If goods have not been received by this time, customers should contact us so that we might investigate the matter.
|
What payment options do you offer?
Payments can be made online by credit or debit card via our trusted payment services partner Sage Pay - we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express (AMEX) and Maestro.
We also accept payment by bank transfer. Please contact us directly to place your order (rather than using the online shop) if you would like to pay this way.
No payment is taken until the date of dispatch.
|
Will my payment card details be secure?
All credit / debit card details submitted through our online shop are processed for payment by our trusted payment services partner, Sage Pay (a Sage UK company). Card details are not held in clear text on any website at any time.
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud resulting from using our online shop.
